Privacy Policy: RyanAI and RyanAI SGO

Privacy Policy

This policy covers ryanai.io and RyanAI SGO, the AI search visibility service operated by RyanAI LLC ("RyanAI", "we"). Questions or requests: ry@ryanai.io.

What RyanAI SGO collects

To measure and improve how AI assistants describe a business, RyanAI SGO stores:

• Business details the client gives us: business name, website address, category, location, competitors, and the buyer questions we track.
• The answers AI assistants (for example ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and Claude) give to those questions, and which businesses and websites those answers mention.
• Connection details for services the client chooses to connect (for example a website host or Google), stored encrypted.
• Contact email addresses for reports and approvals.
• A log of every change the service drafts, approves, publishes or reverts, so each one can be reviewed and undone.

We do not collect payment card details in RyanAI SGO.

Google user data

If you connect a Google account, RyanAI SGO asks only for the access each job needs:

• Gmail, send only (gmail.send): to send outreach emails that have been approved. RyanAI SGO cannot read, search or delete your email.
• Google Drive, app files only (drive.file): to save the reports RyanAI SGO creates to your Drive. It can see only files it created.
• Google Analytics, read only (analytics.readonly), only if you connect it: to include your site's traffic in reports.

Google user data is used only to provide these features. It is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared with anyone except as needed to provide the service or when the law requires it. People at RyanAI do not read your Google data unless you ask us to (for example for support), it is needed for security, or the law requires it.

RyanAI SGO's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can disconnect Google at any time in RyanAI SGO (Settings > Integrations > Google) or at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. When you disconnect, we delete the stored Google tokens.

Visits to ryanai.io

To measure visits that arrive from AI assistants, our site records the page path, time, browser type and referring site of page views. IP addresses are used only momentarily to verify known AI crawlers and are not stored. We do not use this to identify individual visitors.

How we use and share data

We use the data above only to run the service for the client: measuring AI visibility, drafting and publishing approved improvements, sending approved outreach, and reporting results. We share it only with the providers that run the service for us (hosting, database, and the AI engines we query with the tracked questions), each only as needed to do that job. We do not sell personal information.

Keeping and deleting data

Security

Credentials and tokens are stored encrypted. Access to client data is limited to the people who run the service.

Changes
